In an effort to affect change in all areas impacting victims and survivors of domestic violence, our programming includes prevention and intervention in its approach to community education and development, training and technical assistance, and research.

Our community education and development program focuses on educating Muslim leaders and community members through workshops that raise awareness regarding the prevalence of domestic violence among Muslim families, its nature, and strategies for prevention and intervention.

Training and technical assistance is offered through culturally sensitive programs enabling service providers and professionals to conduct more effective outreach to Muslim communities, and to better serve their Muslim clientele.

We conduct culturally sensitive research to develop and inform programming and strategies relevant to Muslim communities. We also collaborate with domestic violence organizations and academic researchers to advise them and partner on research projects
